Privacy notice

This English version is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the governing text and prevails in case of any discrepancy.

1. Who is responsible for your data

MAQPROD GS, located at Laurel 1616, Col. Moderna, Monterrey, Nuevo León, C.P. 64530, Mexico, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide to us, under the terms of the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties).

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data you give us directly when you request a quote or contact us:

• Name
• Company or plant
• Email address
• Phone or WhatsApp number
• The description of the project, part or problem you share with us, together with any drawings, models or photographs you choose to send

The same treatment applies regardless of which of our forms you use, and also when contact takes place by WhatsApp, phone or email.

3. We do not collect sensitive data

We do not request or process sensitive personal data, meaning data that could reveal racial or ethnic origin, health status, genetic information, religious, philosophical or moral beliefs, union membership, political opinions or sexual preference.

4. What we use your data for

Primary purposes. These are necessary to serve you and do not require your additional consent:

• Responding to your request and preparing the quote
• Asking you for any technical information still needed to quote
• Following up on the project, its fabrication, delivery and warranty
• Issuing the corresponding commercial and tax documentation

Secondary purposes. These are not necessary to serve you, and you may object to them without affecting your request:

• Sending you information about our capabilities or projects
• Inviting you to visit our plant

If you do not want us to use your data for the secondary purposes, tell us by email at ventas@maquinadosyproductos.com. Simply saying so is enough; you do not need to give a reason.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

We do use service providers that, because of the technical nature of a website, process data on our behalf and under our instructions:

• Web3Forms — processes the content of the forms and delivers it to us.
• Vercel — hosts the site and generates server logs that include the visitor's IP address.
• Google — serves the site's fonts, which means your IP address reaches its servers on every visit. The contact page also displays a Google Maps map, which may set Google's own cookies when it loads.

These providers handle the information under their own privacy policies. If you would rather avoid that interaction entirely, you can contact us by phone or WhatsApp at +52 81 8706 7945 instead of using the site.

6. Your ARCO rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify it if it is inaccurate, to cancel it when you consider it is not required, and to object to its processing for specific purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, send your request to ventas@maquinadosyproductos.com including:

• Your name and a way to contact you
• A copy of an official ID, to prove that you are the data subject
• Which right you wish to exercise and over which data

We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days. If the response is favorable, it will take effect within the following 15 business days. There is no charge to you, except for shipping or reproduction costs if you request copies.

7. Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw the consent you have given us at any time, through the same channel described in the previous section. Please note that in some cases we may not be able to act on the request immediately because of legal obligations, or that withdrawal may mean we can no longer provide the service to you.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep your data while a business relationship or a quote is in progress, and afterwards for the period required by applicable tax and commercial regulations. Once that period ends, the data is deleted.

9. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, and unauthorized use, access or processing. The site is served encrypted over HTTPS.

10. Changes to this notice

This notice may be modified to reflect changes in our services, in the law or in our practices. Any modification will be published on this same page, with the update date shown at the top. We suggest you review it periodically.

11. Authority

If you believe your right to the protection of personal data has been violated, you may turn to the competent personal data protection authority in Mexico.
